Empowering Young Girls Children

At American Power and Gas and on this blog, we often post about passions. Jim Bridgeforth and Tom Cummins have prime focus on renewable energy and delivering awareness on renewable topics. However Tom Cummins and Jim Bridgeforth do have other passions and we contribute to many different movements. So today we will switch it up and talk about the little girls of the world. Today is international girl child day. American power and Gas observed the holiday by acknowledging and recognizing the every day struggles and/or obstacles that young girl children deal with. The goal is to recognize and empower.

The Movement:

The purpose of this movement is to reduce the vulnerability in girls, during and after crisis’. Empowering girl children is about providing support for girls, and helping girls to be more fortunate in the lives they lead. The movement is about breaking negative cycles, the movement is about giving young girl children power. The goal is to build girl children up so that they are empowered. The girl children empowering movement is about creating a foundation of self worth and building blocks of unity on that foundation. Clubs and organizations advocate for girl children, we will post their links below so you can check them out. Everyone can lead by example for girl children and help them to become more sophisticated and confident women.

Tiny lessons and Applications From American Power and Gas

Playing sports is helpful for Young girl children to build self-esteem. Teaching our young girl children about positive self talk is important.Young girl children could be vulnerable to harm when they haven’t been taught self worth. But we show our young girl children their self worth by taking those extra few minutes to listen. Influencing young girl children to journal their feelings and emotions is important. Teaching young girl children about privacy, personal feelings, and communication are helpful and empowering skills. American Power and Gas says Educate our young girl children about the accomplished women in the world. Young girl children can learn and be coached on how to handle and overcome obstacles and helping others. Tell girl children and all children about never giving up. Young girls need to be heard, and they need to be trusted so that they can trust others.

The Passion:

Are we leading by example? We must we must respect ourselves, and build the young girl children around us up. American Power and Gas team members cheer each other on. We believe in each other. The mothers and fathers that work here take that same attitude home to their children. Quite trying to compete with each other, and show young girl children that it is OK to be yourself! Showing young girl children their self worth by speaking to them positively, possibly rewarding them for working hard. We can coach our girl children to express themselves positively. All these things help Empower the young girl children around us.This is a beautiful movement that should be explored and and applied further.
