Tom Cummins on the Shore Line of Japan

Tom Cummins and AP& G Vote Turbine Couple of the Month!

CEO Tom Cummins at American Power and Gas says, the Shore line of Japan is our next target for new data on Green and renewable energy. Tom Cummins and American Power and Gas have voted. We elected the tetra-pods and turbines as the coolest tech couple of the month! This is the most fascinating technology Tom and the rest of the team at American Power and Gas have seen! There is a fairly new development in Japan that has surfaced the shoreline, literally. Wind turbines that have a specific form and purpose. The turbines are made safe to use on the shore line, the turbines reduce and redirect wave energy. Most importantly, the turbines also pull energy from the waves and harness it to generate electricity and forms of power currents.

Tetra-pods

To give you a little background on tetra-pods. Solid cement mechanisms used to prevent erosion on shorelines, and referred to as tetra-pods. These cement saviors are most common in areas that are most vulnerable to movement of land and erosion. Japan has very extreme landscapes, for example “mountainous area that runs down into the sea” (Baird 2016).  Japan is a place where, unfortunately tsunamis and earthquakes take place often. Tectonic plates are nearby their landscapes and this landscape is susceptible to damage. After research here at American Power and Gas Tom Cummins, and the rest of the team can understand the facts a little better. Tetra-pods, contain stability, provide protection to coastlines, and maintain foundation through some of the sporadic and detrimental weather (Baird 2016).

Turbines

The five blades harvest wind and the magnet inside acts as a rotor on the turbine. The rotor is protected by wood, metal and a steel casing, so that it is not ruined by water or salt. The turbine’s motor is set at a specialized speed so that it is not harmful; and the blades are mimics of how a dolphin fin flexes and feels. This model prevents fish and wild life from injury so that these turbines can do more good then harm. Lastly the turbine’s post is flexible so that during bad storms, waves, and tsunamis’ the turbines would simply flow with and overlapping wave.

Tetra-Pods and Turbines Come Together

Tetra-pods and Turbines come together like peas and carrots. As some may put it, the old concrete methods never went bad, but the new technology is doing its job. The new technology’s job is to increase efficiency and enhance older methods. The combination of the tetra-pod and turbine allows for redirecting wind and protecting the shoreline. It is pretty amazing to see these two products compliment each other so well. Tom Cummins and of the rest the team here at American Power and Gas are thrilled to watch this renewable energy grow into something fantastic. “The next experimental demonstration is using half -scale models with blades 35cm (13.8in) and generating power from the wind turbines to light up LED lights” (Irving 2017).

Too Exciting!

The article by Sarah Bairds reads,  “30% of the seashore in Japan is covered in turbines, just 1% of the mainland can generate about 10 Gigawats of energy! That amount of power is equivalent to 10 power plants!”(Irving 2017). The green energy movement is extremely important to all of us here at American Power and Gas. New arrivals such as the wind turbines are definitely something  to rave about! Think about how much further we can go with using green energy and how much more we can help the environment! CEO Tom Cummins is honored to be a part of the green energy movement as a whole and we will continue to educate ourselves.

Keep In Touch

Tom Cummins and staff at American Power and Gas will continue to follow the research and help publicize the inventions that arise. We appreciate all constructive feed back and any Support that you can give on Green Energy topics or opinions, please let us know!

We will keep you posted on all the new research we find. Tell us your comments, and how you get involved in green energy. Tell American Power and Gas what you would like to see in the future of Green energy. Tom cummins says if you believe in the movement, tell your friends to check this green energy movement out because We are constantly posting thing about green energy. Take a look at the blog link below and maybe you can even subscribe. It is our passion to post about innovations and educate our viewers on the green energy movements and how we help the environment!

What’s Your Movement?

Tom Cummins and the rest of us can really see that this really cutting edge technology.  Tell American Power and GAS what else you are passionate about, what is your movement? What is your cause? As Tom Cummins would say, “what do you want” ask yourself what you want out of life and put your intention in to obtain it! We want to help the environment and Tom Cummins knows Green Energy is the future, no matter what. We can’t continue to use non-renewable sources, we must graduate to renewable sources. This is truly a world wide movement, tell us what your company is doing to help the environment! Let’s give intention and energy to this movement, it all starts with one person.
