Lesson of the Day: Who/What is Tesla?
Tom Cummins CEO of American Power and Gas wants to share some data on Tesla. Tesla is a company that manufactures cars, a company that stores energy, and also manufactures solar panels. We are Tesla lovers here at American Power and Gas. Elon Musk CEO of Tesla is quite the icon and the most recent inventions are batteries that power homes and businesses. The batteries called power wall and power packs. Tesla created a division committed to selling these packs, and is planning to expand even more in the future.
What Else is New?
Tesla is constantly studying and fencing new technology. Now that Tesla has landed a 2.1 billion contract with Solarcity they are able to double their research and efforts! It is always exciting when a company really specializes in an area that needs help. We know with the additional business Tesla’s development will broaden even more, and that will be beneficial to the green energy movement. Upgraded versions of solar panels have already surfaced, and Tesla wants to build 3 more facilities. The first official site is in Sparks, Nevada and will be operating at full speed in 2018!
Where Tom Cummins Says “WOW”
Tesla is literally spreading their services nationwide. Branding their abilities all over the world, this company powers resorts, islands, and very prestigious homes. The list of places Tesla powers goes on and on. To keep it short, know that 300 mega watts worth of electricity/energy is spread out and distributed by Tesla in 18 different countries. This energy is mostly from the power packs that Tesla developed. Except for the Island that is powered by partnering solar panels. That’s right, a whole island running off power pack energy batteries and solar panels from Tesla! Amazing! This is living proof that if more people supported the green energy cause we would be out of the danger zone. Green Energy is the future, and hopefully Tesla will continue to make it easier for everyone to adopt the green methods.
