This expectation has developed a new dynamic of market competition. Companies that advertise more natural products, or sustainable production methods are “liked” more and given an advantage. More and more consumers put green method manufacturing as a priority when purchasing their goods. 52% of consumers in 2015 reported sustainable practices as a preference(Bonnell, 2015). And 62% of consumers said if they agree with a companies morals they are more likely to buy from them(Bonnell, 2015). There are tons of executives that are advocating for sustainability methods.
